Happy May Day, You Wacky Pagans
Happy May Day, geek parents! If you are like me, then every May 1st reminds you of dancing around maypoles, getting frisky in graveyards, and Christoper Lee in drag. I'm referring, of course, to the most amazing movie released in the 1970's -- Wicker Man!

Still one of my favorite movies! I recommend it often! Cage's remake was not as good, but wasn't bad if you've never seen the original.

I saw that movie sober once... never again. If the Nick Cage remake is as bad as everyone says, I wouldn't screen that near an open flame.

It's strange that today is May Day. Because it is also the Day of Jesus Christ's Ascension.
BTW - It's normally not on May 1, but it is always 40 days after Easter. And Easter is always First Sunday after the first full moon on or after the Spring equinox.
