   We can thank our friends in jolly ol' England for this concoction. Gelli Baff is a special bubble bath that turns your bath water into goo. Of course, by "goo," they are referring to the interdimensional ectoplasm that Carol Anne was covered in at the end of Poltergeist. Still, this looks like a great way to coax your dirty child into a bath.

   
2. GIANTmicrobes
   

   Children can learn about biology with these plush, over-sized germs. From the common cold to Staph, various beasties are rendered as lovable, huggable GIANTmicrobes. You may want to save this company's newest line, Venereals, for when you sit your child down for "the talk."
   

   
3. Fly Catcher

4. Cold War Unicorns Play Set
   I highly recommend this product to homeschooling parents. As far as I'm concerned, nothing better explains the complexities of the Cold War to children than unicorns. Nothing. I am particularly impressed with the names of the two unicorns: Commie and Freedom. U-S-A! U-S-A!

   My husband and I were over the moon when we saw these figures at our local comic shop. The versatile toys appear to be running scared from something, be it your son's favorite dinosaur or your daughter's over-sized Dora the Explorer. 6. Oscar Wilde Action Figure
   

   Forget about kung fu grip, this bad boy is armed with a sharp wit and removable cane. Kids may like Ninja Turtles, but they love Victorian playwrights. Trust me on this one.

   Sea Monkeys make a great gift, but they are just that much cooler when they live on Mars. How they terraformed the red planet, no one knows, but these little critters make a great first pet for your little geek.

   This makes a great stocking stuffer for your little science geek and it's a heck of a lot cheaper than Space Camp! This freeze-dried delicacy comes in three flavors: Cookies & Cream, Neapolitan Ice Cream and Strawberries.

   I can vouch for this play set myself, as it's my son's favorite bath toy. We're constantly digging around the drain for those frogmen, but I'll be darned if the kid doesn't love his killer octopus.

    If your future scientist wants to dissect a frog without the mess, buy him/her this educational toy. If your little blessing has been cutting up live animals, this invention is a great way to nip that whole "Homicidal Triad" thing in the bud.
